1. Zero Data Collection on Pasted or Uploaded Content

ScrubLocal processes all text, logs, JSON, CSV, PDF, DOCX, and HAR files 100% locally inside your web browser. The text you paste or files you select are never transmitted to our servers, third-party APIs, or cloud storage. Replacement token maps exist only in your browser's volatile memory for the duration of your tab session.

2. Analytics & Advertising (Google AdSense)

To keep ScrubLocal free, we may display advertisements served by Google AdSense or privacy-first pageview counters (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Third-party ad vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Advertising and analytics scripts never read or transmit the contents of your local scrubbing workspace.

3. No Warranty

ScrubLocal is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While our pattern detectors identify common PII formats (emails, phone numbers, Luhn credit card numbers, SSNs, IPv4/IPv6 addresses, UUIDs, and API tokens), you are solely responsible for reviewing scrubbed output before sharing it externally or pasting it into third-party AI tools.
